ZAC SURRIDGE
Zac is a photographer and filmmaker based in the South West of England. Growing up in coastal and rural locations, he has a profound passion for the natural world and the wildlife that inhabits it. Over the last three years he has studied ‘BA Marine and Natural History Photography’ at Falmouth University, Cornwall where he focused on communicating the connection between humans and the environment through his photography and film work.
Created with both mediums, Zac’s most recent project ‘South West Sanctuary’ is an exploration of the wild bird life in the South West of England. The project explores how different bird species are drawn to particular locations which serve as their sanctuaries for survival.
Having worked in the sea as a lead activity instructor and photographer for the past four years,
Zac has a unique experience of capturing people and wildlife through an unusual perspective.
Zac continues to balance personal projects with future collaborations. Moving forward, he is currently working with ‘Consano Earth’ and ‘Rewilding Britain' to communicate the importance of rewilding our planet and telling the stories of ongoing regenerative farming projects across the South West of England.

In all his work, Zac strives to create unique images and films of the wildlife and landscapes that are all around us.
